Jim Carter is an aviation professional who has been in the industry for over 30 years. His work experience with Fortune 500 companies is essential in defining what large corporations need especially with respect to their front-line workers and how it will make them more competitive and increase their bottom line.
Jim has found ways to weave his love of the aircraft from flying to currently working full time as a mechanic on corporate aircraft. He holds an Associate and Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance from the University of the District of Columbia and numerous industry-related certificates.
The Ophelia DeVore Charm School was an integral part of Jim's childhood. He assisted with some of the behind-the-scenes activities, including graduations and showcases, giving him an early education of how business management is carried out in real time. His interest and eye for seeing the big picture within a corporate framework only grew from there.
Jim's career-path has included additional experience as a recruiter for the legal department of Wachovia Bank, now known as Wells Fargo. Through his aviation and corporate exposure Jim’s employment responsibilities honed his skills to better understand what makes a company competitive in this new environment.
