LaJuan Carter- Dent has been part of the DeVore Team for more than 20 years. She has worked as both a private and corporate trainer for the organization, with a focus on vocal technique and dynamics, stage presence and overall self-confidence. LaJuan’s easy charm and energetic personality has been an integral part of keeping the DeVore programs fun and exciting while informative and practical. 

LaJuan’s “vocal” expertise comes from years as a highly sought after lead and background singer. She has performed in-studio and on-stage with some of music’s top artists from all genres: Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Celine Dion, Jennifer Nettles, Harry Connick Jr., Ne-Yo, Chaka Khan, and scores more. She is also a professional songwriter with original credits in major motion pictures, TV shows and Netflix. Her voice has been featured on national jingles and she has been the featured performer at international events for Johnson & Johnson, IBM and Pfizer. 

In addition to training with DeVoreCarter Communications, LaJuan continues to be a private vocal coach and conduct workshops on “Finding Your Voice: How To Discover Your Sound & Sing With Confidence."

LaJuan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Rutgers University.
