Lori K. Harris brings to DeVoreCarter Communications over twenty years of experience in building confidence and positive self-images to her clients and students.

She began working at Ophelia DeVore Charm School as an administrative assistant while a young high school student. She completed the Charm School program and participated in the formal graduation.

Lori’s professional career includes teaching private and public students in the New Jersey school system. She has for the past 15 years been employed in Social Services.  Lori has worked for the ARC of Rockland County, the Nathan Kline Institute and Catholic Charities. While at Catholic Charities one of her main responsibilities was to reunite children with their biological parents who had been separated for various reasons. 

Lori has worked for the past nine years as a Family Advocate in Plainfield, NJ where she manages a caseload of 45 preschoolers and their families.

Lori enjoys spending time with her children, two daughters and a son, a circle of special friends and an energetic puppy. She enriches her life by helping the less fortunate.

Lori graduated with honors from Dominican College and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
